After narrowing down my ideas I had to choose which one I thought worked best as my final design, and this is it; (one of the first sketch has the measurements and dimensions)

After building up a large collection of initial ideas of all kinds, I sat down with them infront of me and slowly flicked through each individual page and selected a small number of them that jump outof the page at me, had something about them and developed them with more detailed, larger sketches. I narrowed it down to these eight designs and sketched each one in; front view, rear view and beneath. All being in perspective views.

All these ideas are just different ways of messing with the side profile of a basic chair, which are simple and only two dimensional.
